Test Internet Explorer 7
Before I go to sleep today i will install Internet Explorer 7 Beta 3. Reason for installing it is that nobody can’t say… “You’re making fun of it, but you didn’t even tested it.” I am dissapointed on beginning. Beta version is not in my mother language which is Slovenian. There are few others too. The second thing i was dissapointed at is microsoft’s page which wants Geniune Validation before I can do the IE7 Beta3 download. Great this means I will go to sleep few minutes later 
muBlinder sucesfully overriden microsoft Genuine. Or I am really Genuine Validated? Who knows? and … who cares 
.exe of the download file is about ~12MB. Download is slow, like microsoft’s pages all the time.
Installation is very tipical. At the beginning everything is unpacked and it looks like installing SP2, or a language pack, than you must accept license file. At the next step there isGenuine Validation AGAIN. At the full version will validation be everytime I’ll boot IE? Bad… After validating again installer asks us to confirm update. Yes it’s Microsoft Windows so it relly must be done. It’s interesting that every Windows version (SP1, SP2, MC, HOME) has his own variant of IE7 beta3. And Windows are compatible? After long long time updating Windows says I must restart Windows to accept new core files. When did I requested full sistem update? I had to restart PC to finish the setup.
After you reboot and run IE you can enable simple phising protection and you can contribute and help to M$. After first run I see tabs. That’s + They open’s as in Firefox. (Alt+t) Ufcorse first page opened with it was www.konzola.net and my blog at www.konzola.net/mitja where I see that fonts are messed up. Changed size or just other font? Huh I have enought for today. We’ll check this tomorrow.
